Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Synestrology ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Synestrology offers two kinds of products:

  • Classic Readings (Standard, Premium, Ultimate): one-time personalized readings synthesizing Western Astrology, Human Design, and Numerology, delivered as branded PDF documents via email
  • Observatory: a monthly subscription product that includes a daily personalized reading card, a chart-aware conversation, and a personal transit calendar

We also offer free tools (Cosmic Blueprint, Time Travel, the public 2026 calendar) that introduce the systems used in our paid products.

Nature of Readings and Conversations

All content we generate (Classic Reading PDFs, Observatory daily cards, Observatory chat responses) is intended for entertainment, self-reflection, and personal insight purposes only. It is not intended to be, and should not be used as:

  • Medical, psychological, or health advice
  • Financial or legal advice
  • A substitute for professional consultation
  • Predictions of future events

You acknowledge that astrological, Human Design, and numerological interpretations are subjective and that results may vary in their perceived accuracy or applicability.

Accuracy of Birth Data

The quality of your reading and ongoing Observatory experience depends on the accuracy of the birth data you provide. You are responsible for ensuring that your name, birth date, birth time, and birth location are accurate. We cannot issue refunds for readings or subscription periods affected by incorrect data provided by the user.

Adding Other People's Birth Data (Observatory only)

Observatory lets you add the birth data of partners, family members, friends, or other people in your life so the system can compute synastry between your chart and theirs. By adding someone else's birth data, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have permission to enter their birth data, or you are acting in good faith on publicly available information about a public figure or historical person
  • You will not use the system to harass, stalk, or harm the person whose data you have entered
  • You understand that Observatory will generate astrological commentary about the relationship between your chart and theirs, and that this commentary is your responsibility to handle with discretion

You can ask Observatory to forget any added person at any time, which immediately deletes their birth data and any anchors tied specifically to that relationship.

User Account (Observatory only)

To use Observatory, you create an account using either email/password or Apple Sign In or Google Sign In. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We are not liable for unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your password. Please notify us promptly if you suspect your account has been compromised.

Payment & Delivery (Classic Readings)

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Prices are listed in USD
  • Your reading will be delivered to the email address associated with your payment
  • Delivery typically occurs within 1-5 minutes of purchase

Subscription, Trial, and Cancellation (Observatory)

Observatory is a monthly subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

  • Free trial: Your subscription begins with a 7-day free trial. Your card is authorized at signup but not charged until the trial ends.
  • Auto-renewal: If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged the monthly subscription fee. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until canceled.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from inside Observatory. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months.
  • Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will email you with a link to update your payment method and retain access for a short grace period. If the payment method is not updated, your subscription will be suspended.
  • Reactivation: A canceled or suspended subscription can be reactivated at any time. Your prior chart, conversation history, and memory anchors are preserved unless you explicitly delete your data.

Refund Policy

Due to the personalized, digital nature of our products, all sales are generally final. Specific cases:

  • Classic Readings: If you experience technical issues preventing delivery of your reading, contact us at hello@synestrology.com and we will work to resolve the issue or provide a refund at our discretion.
  • Observatory: The 7-day free trial is your safety net to evaluate the product without commitment. After the trial converts and you are charged, we generally do not issue refunds for completed billing periods. If something has gone genuinely wrong (a billing error, a failure to deliver the daily card for an extended period, etc.), email us and we will make it right.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and methodology of Synestrology readings are the intellectual property of Synestrology. Your personalized reading is licensed for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute readings
  • Use readings for commercial purposes
  • Reverse-engineer our methodology

User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Submit false or misleading information
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synestrology shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the reading in question.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific results will be achieved from using the Service.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Recurring Communications

Marketing and lunar emails (opt-in): Purchasing a Classic Reading does not subscribe you to any mailing list. Personalized lunar and seasonal emails are available only to users who explicitly opt in, either through our free Cosmic Blueprint tool or via a checkbox at checkout. If you opt in, you will receive personalized emails approximately twice per month (around each new and full moon), with occasional additional emails during significant astrological events. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing is immediate and will result in the deletion of your stored birth data within 30 days.

Observatory transactional emails: Observatory subscribers receive transactional emails related to their subscription (welcome, trial reminders, payment confirmations, card-declined notices, and similar). These are necessary for the operation of the subscription and are not part of the opt-in marketing program. Canceling your Observatory subscription stops these emails.

We will never share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
